Taiz, Newsyemen, private:

The Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, continues to launch intense bombing of residential neighborhoods and army sites in the city of Taiz.

On Tuesday, the militia intensified its bombing of the eastern neighborhoods and the villages of Sayahi and Al-Maqabana in the Dhabab area, west of the city.

Newsyemen monitored the fall of seven artillery shells, yesterday afternoon, Tuesday, on the villages of Mellat and Al-Mihal, the Kabab Station and the Maqhaia area close to Al-Dhabab zone west of the city.

A local source said that the artillery shelling launched by the militia did not result in civilian casualties, and resulted in material losses in the homes of the citizens.

The shelling in the western and eastern regions of Taiz comes after the National Army forces repulsed an attack by the Houthi militia on sites in the eastern and western fronts of Taiz.

The militia committed a massacre two days ago by firing shells at the central prison building in the west of the city, killing six women and wounding 28 others.

A sniper from the Houthi militia stationed at the Kibbutan hill in Zinouh, north of the city, also sniped two children in Asifra while they were playing near their house, killing one of them and wounding the other.
