Al-Dhale', Newsyemen:

Various measures, including kidnappings, invasions, and pillaging of farms, taken by the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, have increased the burden on farmers and citizens in the northwest of Dhale’ under the pretext of confronting the Coronavirus.

Residents of militia-controlled areas, in Dammat, al-Oud, al-Husha, north and west of al-Dhale', complained of increasing arbitrary measures and practices.

According to the media center, local sources from those areas revealed that, during the past days, Houthi militias invaded citizen farms in the areas of al-Oud and al-Husha, especially those designated for qat cultivation and the sale of their crops by elements loyal to them.

The sources said that the Houthi militias issued a new circular about three days ago and distributed it to the village elders in those areas and included imposing exorbitant sums of money on all citizens there under the pretext of facing the Coronavirus.

It added that the militias recently destroyed three khat farms in Hajar and Al-Qarn in Al-Oud after looting their crops from the qat tree and took four of the farm owners to an unknown destination.
