The army and tribes have failed an attack by the Houthi militia, north of al-Bayda

Today, Saturday, the national army forces, backed by tribesmen, foiled a large-scale attack by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, on military sites north of Al-Bayda governorate, as part of its efforts to exploit the ceasefire declared by the coalition.


A military source said that the National Army broke today, attacks by Houthi militias on army positions on the fronts of Nata, al-Malajem and Qaniya, while military forces were able to break these attacks and the militias inflicted significant human and material losses.

The source added, that the militias have resorted to bombing the national army and residential neighborhoods in the Qaniya area with tanks and heavy artillery.


Yesterday, the army and tribal forces managed to achieve field progress in the mountains of Laban, Al-Ghadeer, Al-Qaed, and Al-Walid hills, as well as the Suran mountain range, leading to the adult mountain range on the two fronts of Al-Malajem and Nata.

On the Qaniya front, the army forces were able to liberate the hills of Al-Shaheed, Al-Amen, Al-Shajara, and other small hills.
