The Finance Ministry attacks the defense against billions of dollars

The cabinet meeting, held on Saturday - which was held via video calling - witnessed another type of attack between the finance and defense ministers, which is money-centered.
At the meeting, Finance Minister Salem bin Brik revealed the transfer of 497 billion Yemeni riyals to the Ministry of Defense, over the past year, according to Adel Al-Ahmadi, head of the Nashwan Al-Hamiri Center for Studies and Information.
Al-Ahmadi said, Ibn Brik, the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Muhammad Ali Al-Maqdashi, revealed this amount, which is equal to half a trillion, and does not include Saudi support, while "it doesn’t include salaries of the soldiers."
Al-Ahmadi said on Twitter: “497 billion Yemeni riyals were transferred during the year 2019 from defense to finance, or half a trillion, other than Saudi support, which is doesn’t even include the salaries of the soldiers.”
Al-Ahmadi confirmed that the session in which the disclosure took place was documented.
