Sanaa, Newsyemen, Najwa Ismail:

The Houthi Militia, held the World Food Program, donors and a number of international organizations responsible for the implications of the decision to reduce in-kind and financial aid, considering it a "coup against the agreement."

"The decision of the World Food Program to reduce aid is a coup against the agreement signed between them," the statement said.

The statement held the World Food Program responsible for "diverting the path of humanitarian action in Yemen to the path of blackmail and political incitement," considering that the decision to reduce aid "is a pressure card used by Arab coalition countries."

The Houthis called on WFP to provide a "detailed financial report of what the donors have provided, advising the UN agency" to review and evaluate the agreement between the two parties. "

This statement raised a lot of irony. On the one hand, the Houthis continued to obstruct all programs and activities of the World Food Program with humanitarian programs affiliated with international organizations. More than once, accusations were made against these organizations that they distribute spoiled food and that they manipulate donor funds, and that the Houthi militia  A series of violations against aid workers as well as looting of aid have been practiced.

Informed sources told "Newsyemen" that the Houthis were hoping to raise the percentage of what the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs gets from 2% of each funding for international humanitarian programs in their areas of control to 4%, which seems not to be achieved in light of the reduction and closure of a large number of international programs.
