The Popular Resistance in Al-Sawmaa District refused to deal with mediators to negotiate the release of the son of the governor of Al-Bayda appointed by the militia and his grandson who were captured in an ambush in the directorate last week.
In a statement issued on Sunday, April 19, it warned that it is part of Al-Bayda community and includes in its field people of all tribes of Al Bayda, and therefore it cannot negotiate with the Houthis on this issue.
