Significant progress for the army and resistance in the Sawadiyah district

On Thursday, the army and the Popular Resistance Forces made military progress towards the stronghold of the Houthi militia in the Al-Sawadiyah district of Al-Bayda Governorate.
A field source said that violent battles erupted following an attack by the army and tribesmen on the Qaniya front on the positions of the Houthi militia in Jabal al-Yesbel and its surroundings since the early hours of the morning.
The battles, which lasted for hours, resulted in the control of important sites on this front, namely the network Yesbel point with parts of Al-Hema.
It explained that the importance of Al-Yesbel and Al-Hema that the army forces reached for the first time since they took control of them in late 2018, before withdrawing from them, lies in the fact that they overlook the Al-Wehbeh area, which is one of the most important strongholds of the Houthis in Al-Bayda.
