Official documents revealed the involvement of the Supreme Economic Committee, in the government of interim President Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi, in the operations of forging documents for imported oil shipments to facilitate tax evasion.

One of the documents published by journalist Jalal Al Sharabi, on his Twitter account, shows that the Economic Committee forged a document alleging the arrival of an oil tanker carrying 25,000 tons of fuel from the port of Fujairah.

While the documents of the importing company say that the tanker is coming from Yanbu.

According to Al-Sharabi, the Economic Committee was involved in a tax evasion of 875 million Yemeni riyals.

While another document revealed that the Economic Committee was involved in falsifying oil ship data, for the same reason.

In the forged document, the committee claimed that the name of the ship MT LARA while the export documents said that the name of the tanker BW LARA, which meant that the tanker that the commission was talking about was fake.

In the same document, the committee presented a quotation bill and considered it a final invoice indicating the purchase.
