Local authorities confirm that MSF take over Al-Amal Center for the treatment of Corona patients in Aden

On Thursday, MSF took over management of the Covid 19 treatment center at Al-Amal Hospital in the capital, Aden.
However, the organization stressed in a press release that "the local health authorities remain responsible for Covid 19's comprehensive response in Aden, including checks and management of rapid response teams."
The organization, whose efforts will be limited to the care of those who are confirmed to be infected and taken to hospital, said, "Its team works with Yemeni and international staff to provide the best possible care for patients in the hospital."
It added, We are happy to work in close partnership with the authorities on their response to Coved 19.
MSF has run the surgical hospital in Aden since 2012 and continues to provide care there despite the outbreak of Coved 19.
