With the increase in the demand for some types of fruits, which raise the immunity of the bodies against diseases such as kiwis and oranges, their prices suddenly increased, as the price of a kilo of kiwi reached 4,000 riyals where it was 2,500, while the price of a kilo of oranges increased from 1500 to 2500 within hours.
The vegetable seller, Hamid Abdel Bari, told newsyemen that the rise in the price of kiwis and oranges came after the increased demand for them in the past days, as it rose in the central market in s in the morning (which feeds the markets of the city of Aden) the price of a kiwi bag rose from 13 thousand to 25 thousand riyals.
The high prices for some fruits come in Aden, while the prices of vegetables are stable. Kilo potatoes are 300 riyals and onions at 400 riyals, while tomatoes are stabilized at 500 riyals.
