A health source in Abyan confirms the first suspected case of corona in Zanjubar

An official source at the Public Health and Population Office in the governorate of Abyan confirmed the existence of the first case of Corona virus in the health isolation in Zanjubar, the capital of the governorate, on Saturday
The source told Newsyemen that the suspect, aged 58, was transferred to the health quarantine center and his health condition is currently stable, as he has been treated in a hospital in Aden suffering from chronic diseases.
The source added that the health quarantine doctors in Zanjubar took samples from the suspect and transferred them to the central laboratories for testing for the new virus Corona (Covid 19) and the results of the tests will be announced in due course.
He explained that the suspect had symptoms of shortness of breath, fever, and a cough.
