UAE Crescent provides relief assistance to people of determination in Hadhramaut

On Monday, the Emirates Red Crescent distributed humanitarian aid to "people of determination", as part of the efforts made by the UAE to relieve the people of Hadhramaut from the impact of the crisis due to the events in the country.
The assistance provided by the Emirates to the Hadhramaut coast reached about 1500 integrated food baskets, at a rate of 64 tons and 200 km, targeting 7,500 individuals with determination in a number of rehabilitation centers and societies in the directorates of Al-Shahr and Al-Mukalla in Hadhramaut Governorate.
For their part, the beneficiaries expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Emirates, and its leadership and people, for the valuable aid provided in various fields, and stressed that it came at the appropriate time, given the deteriorating economic conditions and the lack of job opportunities for a large number of families.
The number of food baskets distributed by the UAE since the beginning of this year reached 14,880 food parcels, weighing 918 tons and 443 kg; targeting 74,400 individuals from the needy and affected families in Hadramout Governorate.
