On Tuesday, 31 of the prisoners who were deceived by the Houthi militia and involved in smuggling and financially insolvent cases were released on humanitarian initiative by Brigadier General Tariq Muhammad Abdullah Saleh, commander of the National Resistance on the occasion of Ramadan and as a precautionary measure to counter the outbreak of the Corona virus.

In a speech addressed to the released prisoners, Brigadier Najib Warq, director of Hodeidah Security, praised the initiative of Brigadier Tariq Saleh to release a number of those involved with the Houthi militias, smuggling cases and insolvents, and the financial honor that he provided to the released.

Waraq confirmed that the Houthi militias have disappeared as a group outside the concepts of the times, and that what stands without the liberation of Al Hudaydah Governorate is the agreement of Sweden, which the militias turned against as usual and none of its provisions were implemented.

The dean called on the released paper to take advantage of this amnesty and return to their areas as good citizens and adhere to the law and order and not to be involved in any activities harmful to the security and stability of Hodeidah and Yemen in general.

In turn, the released persons expressed their thanks and appreciation for the honor of the leader of the National Resistance and his initiative to release them after they were exploited by the Houthi militias and made no effort to release them, and they praised the good treatment they received throughout their imprisonment.

They affirmed that they would not engage in any activities harmful to security and stability and hostile to the country and the Republic.
