Gunmen affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood militia besieged and fired the residence of the governor of Taiz, Nabil Shamsan this afternoon on Saturday, in the city, in the center of the country.

An official source said that gunmen affiliated with the Brotherhood militia surrounded the residence of the governor of Taiz, Nabil Shamsan, which is adjacent to the temporary headquarters of the governorate building in Jamal Street in the city of Taiz.

The gunmen are calling for the leadership of Abdel Hakim Al-Shujaa, Commander of the 21st Battalion, 22nd Brigade, Mika, which is controlled by the leadership of the Brotherhood, the governor, Nabil Shamsan, to disburse them from the province's allocations.

According to the source, financing the fronts is an issue that concerns the leadership of the axis, not the governor, but the Brotherhood is pushing their militants to surround the headquarters of the province and restrict the governor in order to push him to leave the city.

Abdulhakim al-Shujaa and Bakr Sadiq Sarhan, son of Sadiq Sarhan, commander of the 22nd Brigade, Mika attacked the governorate headquarters and the governor’s residence, mid-April, with the same pretexts.
