Marib, Newsyemen:

The Murad tribe in Marib Governorate denied that it had anything to do with the fighting in the south, stressing its refusal to invade the south and not allowing its sons to go and fight the southerners.

Activists from the Murad tribe exchanged a statement issued by the tribal sheikhs and leaders in a meeting held on Friday May 15, 2020, during which they stressed that what is happening in the south is a futile war that is not for the sons of Marib and that the Murad tribe is against the invasion of the south, they will not allow any of their sons to go and fight the southerners.

According to the statement, the meeting agreed that the tribe does not interfere with political, partisan, regional and sectarian wars, and that the tribe has no hostility with any of the parties and has no enemy other than Houthi, as it is the first and last enemy.

The leaders of "Murad" affirmed that the tribe stood with the sons of the south, who have the right to determine their fate, and they also affirmed their standing against everyone who objects to this.

The Murad tribe warned the Islah party against draining the blood of its sons and sons of Ma'rib in general and trafficking in them, and it bore full responsibility for what happened and will take place. Houthi also warned of approaching the governorate and the exhaustion of its fighters and their sons in a war that knows its outcome, stressing that he is not allowed to enter Ma'rib.
