The Brotherhood's militia withdrew a number of its loyal leaders from the areas of confrontations with Houthi to Abyan in an attempt to penetrate the southern forces front after two weeks of failure there.
Newsyemen sources said that the southern forces grabbed Al-Aqili forces and surprised him with a guided missile that killed him immediately along with six of his companions and the southern forces seized a tank, two armored vehicles and crews.
Al-Aqili, who was from Harib, Marib Governorate, was one of the most prominent leaders of the fighting in Al-Bayda Governorate, and he is one of the Brotherhood's military leaders.
