Coalition drops Houthi marches toward Sa'id towards Saudi Arabia

The spokesman for the coalition forces in Yemen, Col. Turki al-Maliki, announced wednesday the interception and shooting of drones (drones) launched by Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militias toward civilian dignitaries in najran city.


Colonel Al-Maliki said Houthi militias continue to violate international humanitarian law by firing drones and deliberately targeting civilians as well as communities, which threaten the lives of hundreds of civilians.


He pointed out that these hostile and terrorist acts using drones constitute a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, and confirmed the rejection of the ceasefire and de-escalation initiative announced by the coalition and started on (April 9, 2020) and there was no response by the Houthi militias, where the total violations amounted to more than 4455 penetrations, using all kinds of light and heavy weapons as well as ballistic missiles.


Al-Maliki stressed the continued leadership of the coalition forces to take and implement deterrent measures against the Houthi terrorist militia to neutralize and destroy these capabilities strictly, in accordance with international humanitarian law and its customary rules.
