The joint forces foiled an attempt to infiltrate the Houthi militias, the Iranian arm, in the mountains of Balta, south of Hodeidah, while the joint forces extinguished sources of fire in the city of Hodeidah.
On Wednesday, the joint forces responded to the sources of Houthi fire and extinguished them. It was targeting troop positions in Kilo 16 and east of al-Saleh city in Hodeidah.
The joint forces foiled an attempt to infiltrate Houthi militias in the al-Ta'ita area in the southern province of Al-Hodeida. According to a military field source, the joint forces were able to monitor Houthi elements who tried to infiltrate into joint forces positions and were confronted after violent confrontations with various weapons.
In addition, Houthi militias shelled the Al-Faza area of the Tahita district with a number of 120-caliber heavy mortar shells, and the militias opened fire with their medium-caliber machine guns and sniper weapons towards citizens' farms.
On Wednesday, militias targeted the homes of citizens in Hays with a .23-caliber M.T. weapon, injuring a citizen.
