Total power shut down in Aden

On Saturday, the electricity system was completely out of service in Aden Governorate, in southern Yemen.
Local residents told "Newsyemen" that the power has been completely off since Saturday morning, confirming the continuation of the blackouts until the moment of writing the news (Saturday afternoon).
The long term shut down of power with a rise in temperature comes to record levels in the coastal city, especially with the summer.
While sources at the General Electricity Corporation in Aden said that the power blackout was caused by a technical defect, without giving further details.
