Abyan Belt imposes a partial lockdown in the Khanfar District

 On Saturday, the leadership of the Security Belt and Rapid Intervention in Abyan Governorate issued a decision to impose a partial curfew in the Khanfar district, in order to confront the possible repercussions of the emerging coronavirus.

In a circular issued by the leadership of the Security Belt Forces, she said that she had approved a curfew from five o'clock in the evening until five in the morning, starting today, Saturday, May 30, 2020.

 It also approved the closure of commercial and handicraft stores for a period of two consecutive weeks, confirming in its circular the introduction of legal penalties for violators that may amount to imprisonment and payment of financial fines.

The circular stipulated the closure of public markets, khat markets, and gathering places in the city of Jaar during the embargo, as a precautionary measure against the spread of the Coronavirus.
