Exclusive details - a new Houthi massacre that left 19 dead and injured in the city of Hodeidah

Newsyemen obtained detailed information about the location of the launching of the shells that caused a new massacre committed by the Iranian arm militia in the city of Hodeidah against civilians in the neighborhood - Saddam Street.

"Newsyemen" sources revealed that the Houthi militia stationed in Al-Ahdath prison, north of Al-Zuhur neighborhood, in Al-Hadi district, in Al-Hodeidah city, fired 4 mortar shells towards the heart of the neighborhood, around 4 pm on Sunday, May 31, 2020 , and caused the death and injury of 19 people, most of them children.

The source stated that the Houthi militia had vacated the prison in mid-2018, and transferred the inmates of the Juvenile Prison to the orphanage on Zayed Street, after recruiting 13 juveniles from the prison population.

 The source added that the militia had turned the prison's yard into a military barracks and its buildings into a gathering and deployment site for its gunmen.

The source added: I saw about four o'clock this afternoon, two shells fired from the prison yard towards the heart of the neighborhood (Saddam neighborhood), then two shells after less than two minutes in the same direction.

 Initial statements released by Newsyemen reported that more than ten civilians were killed and wounded, including at least 3 martyrs.

 According to updated information, the number has risen to 19, most of them children.

 Houthi militias are established and deploy heavy weapons among residential neighborhoods, population centers, and public and service facilities in the city of Hodeidah, including schools and hospitals.
