In a related context, the field commander, Othman Mouawadah, said that the southern forces and the security belt reached the Durjaj area and engaged in clashes with supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood militia and its forces while they were on the run and in the last breath .. Mouawadah added: Hundreds of citizens went out with their weapons with the men of the security belt and southern forces to defeat the infiltrated elements.
On the other hand, a source in the operations of the security belt stated that Abd al-Latif al-Sayyid, the commander of the security belt, led a large force in the city of Jaar, heading to the al-Durjaj area to defeat the terrorist elements that had infiltrated, while field sources confirmed that a huge force of southern forces had swept the Al-Durjaj area adjacent to the Al-Tariya area.
