Has the Islah Party succeeded in converting Al Taawun Hospital in Taiz into a private hospital?

The Brotherhood Islah Party, which has become the de facto authority in Taiz, is working hard and with systematic and accelerated steps to destroy the health sector in Taiz, by targeting government hospitals in favor of supporting private hospitals owned by leaders of the party.
The targeting of the Brotherhood’s Islah party has focused mainly during the past years on Al-Thawra General Hospital Authority, where the hospital was occupied by the Islah militants more than once and work in its departments was stopped, they also stormed the office of the president of the commission and assaulted and expelled him.
However, the targeting campaign carried out by the Islah militia for government hospitals in Taiz did not stop at the Al-Thawra Hospital Authority, but rather targeting other government hospitals, as happens with AlTaawun Hospital, which is controlled by senior leaders in the party, and the disaster of this targeting lies that the leaders of the Islah Party, which is tightening its grip on the Governmental Taawun Hospital, have succeeded in turning it into something like a “private hospital”.
Dr. Ilan Abdulhaq, Undersecretary of Taiz Governorate for Health Affairs, revealed in press statements a few months ago that “the orthopedic center in Al-Taawun Hospital operates as a private sector and does not operate as a government sector and does not provide free services to the wounded, as does the orthopedic center that was provided from the King Salman Center to Al-Thawra hospital”
The bold and responsible statement of the representative of the governorate of Taiz for health affairs made us try hard to reveal the secrets of the Islah’s systematic policy of transforming Al-Taawun Hospital into a kind of private hospital, which is the government hospital that is supposed to provide its free services to citizens.
For years, the Islah Party succeeded in controlling Al-Taawun hospital with the appointment of the Islahi leader Dr. Habib Bajash Al Asbahi - who is the second man in the Islah of Taiz - as the General Director of the hospital, where he succeeded in replacing an Islahi cadre to the hospital after harassing and disposing of those who did not belong to the party, and the hospital director exploited the influence of his party, which controls Taiz, in granting hospital staff military numbers belonging to the leadership of the Taiz axis.
The Islahi leader, Dr. Habib Bajash, has succeeded in actually privatizing Al Taawun Hospital, as hospital revenues are supplied in a special account with Al-Tadhamun Islamic Bank - which is a private bank - and it is not supplied to the Central Bank.
During the war, the hospital, which is completely affiliated with the Islah Party, received generous support from the State of Qatar.
The most prominent thing that was provided was the oxygen station that produces 50 cylinders in the patrol, however, the hospital remained far from providing its free services, as it turned into something like a private hospital, especially with the support it received from the de facto authority, which was devoted to fighting the General Thawra Hospital.
At the beginning of 2016, the de-facto authority of Taiz, affiliated with the Islah Militia, decided to transfer the orthopedic center from Al-Thawra General Hospital to Al-Taawun Hospital, despite the lack of the necessary equipment that qualifies it to manage the department and carry out the tasks assigned to it, which include providing free medical services to thousands of citizens, including wounded, members of the National Army.
The decision to move the orthopedic department was seeking to achieve a number of goals at the same time, foremost among which was fighting and destroying Al-Thawra Hospital Authority, in addition to the Islah leaders seeking to benefit from a sum of money that was provided as a monthly support for the orthopedic department from an international organization, as the medical committee members at that time Dr. Muhammad Al-Qubati and Dr. Fares Abdul Ghani, in addition to a member of the Coordinating Council of the Popular Resistance Nabil Jamel - and all of them leaders in the Islah Party - have stood behind the decision of the transfer process in order to seize the amount of 780 thousand dollars, an operating budget for the bone department at 130 thousand dollars per month for a period of six months, in addition to 300 thousand dollars of equipment means 1,080,000 million and eighty thousand dollars of the total value of the support.
Although the Isalah Party conspiracy succeeded in transferring the orthopedic department from the Revolution General Hospital to Al Taawun Hospital, Al-Taawun Hospital administration imposes very large amounts of money on the beneficiaries of the medical services provided by the department, which led patients to turn to Al Thawra Hospital to take advantage of its free medical services that it provides as a people's hospital and the poor hospital as people call it.
Targeting campaigns against Al-Thawra Hospital Authority and behind them are leaders of the Islah Party, which represents the de facto authority in Taiz, which continued with the introduction of the oxygen crisis in hospitals, and this time the conspiracy is led by a gang composed of both the governor Nabil Shamsan and the director of the provincial health office, Dr. Brotherhood Rajeh al-Maliki, and the director of the hospital Al-Jamhori Dr. Nashwan Al-Hussam.
As the targeting gang talked about the Thawra hospital refusing to supply the Al-Jamhori Hospital with oxygen cylinders, despite the commitment of Al-Thawra Hospital to meet the requests submitted by Al-Jamhori Hospital accordingly, as confirmed by official documents issued by Al-Thawra Hospital Authority.
This campaign comes in light of the silence applied to Al Taawun Hospital, whose station provided by the Qatari Red Crescent produces 50 cylinders per patrol, while the station affiliated to the Al-Thawra Hospital Authority provided by King Salman Center produces 20 cylinders in the patrol.
Sources revealed that the oxygen station of Al-Thawra Hospital Authority is providing the Authority as well as Al-Jambori Hospital with daily needs, while the station affiliated with Al-Taawun Hospital is providing the private hospitals of the Islah Party, and this is the secret of the continuous incitement campaigns against Thawra Hospital.
