Clashes and artillery exchange on the northwestern fronts of Al-Dhalea

Clashes with armor weapons erupted on the northwestern fronts of the Al-Dhalea axis, and the southern forces stormed the positions of the Houthi militias in the Battar front and the Masharih, and the area of engagement expanded to Kharaza and al-Fakher.

The southern forces are engaged in clashes involving artillery exchanges with Houthi militias on the fronts of northern Dhalea, early Tuesday morning, June 23, 2020.

A news reporter said, intermittent clashes between the southern forces and the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, broke out after midnight on Monday, accompanied by mutual artillery shelling in the sectors of Battar and Habil Yahya.

Southern forces raided the northern coastal areas of al-Dhalea on the sources of enemy fire with armor weapons, with painful strikes, and that they were hit in more than one location in both al-Fakher front and Battar Hajar al-Masharih.

Simultaneously, clashes and artillery strikes are taking place on the Torsah-Azraq front, northwest of Al-Dhalea governorate.
