Houthi militias target neighborhoods in Hays with automatic weapons

Houthi militias, Iran's arm in Yemen, opened fire with automatic weapons towards residential neighborhoods in the center of the city of Hays, south of Hodeidah Governorate, in renewed shelling and daily targeting of residential areas and communities.
A military source told a Newsyemen reporter in Hays, that the Houthi militia opened automatic weapons fire, at dawn on Saturday, towards crowded residential neighborhoods using an average 14.5-caliber machine gun.
He confirmed that the bullets hit the housing units located on the outskirts of the city towards the neighborhood of "Al-Mughal neighbourhood and the surrounding places, and also affected large places and parts in Ruba Al-Souq in the city center.
He pointed out that the Houthi bombardment with machine guns caused a state of fear and panic among the citizens and displaced people living on the outskirts of the city.
