For days, the Houthi militia has continued to mobilize its supporters and tribal fighters east of Al-Jawf under the name “Tribal support” in preparation for a widespread attack on the army and tribesmen west of Marib governorate.

A local source said that the prominent Houthi leader Abu Ali al-Hakem called in several tribal meetings the pro Houthis sheikhs from the tribes of Ma'rib, Sana'a and al-Jawf to mobilize their tribes to throw them into the Holocaust under the pretext of revenge for Al Subaiyan, who were killed late last month by a military and security campaign in the Wadi Ubaidah district.

This mobilization was likely to be in preparation for a large-scale attack that will be carried out by the Houthi militia during the coming period, whose main axis is the western front, west of Marib Governorate, in an effort to control the Al-Alman area and then reach the Ruik and the Thanya mountains.

The source pointed out that the Houthis aim from this "mobilisation" to cut the main link between Marib and Hadhramaut, thus tightening the cordon and blockade of the Marib governorate from all sides.

Since last week, tribal groups of the popular resistance, most of them from the Ubaida tribes, headed towards the Al-Alam region carrying military equipment kits consisting of medium and heavy weapons reinforcements and various munitions in anticipation of an upcoming Houthi attack.

The source pointed out that the Houthis are using Al Subaiyan family as an excuse for the crowd following the huge human losses of the militia members on the outskirts of Marib, Al-Jawf and Qaniya, coinciding with the tribes ’reluctance to push their sons to fight among the Houthis after the issuance of the racist zakat list,“ Zakat Al-Khums ”.

The source warned that the sheikhs who support the al-Houthi mobilisation, became an opponent of the families of the martyrs on the fronts, and set themselves as a rival to the sons of the tribes of Ma'rib, and this would ignite discord between the people of the region, and this is what the "Al-Hakem" wants.
