Today, Sunday, July 12, 2020, the Supreme Military Commission for the Army and Southern Security organized a military parade in front of the coalition headquarters in the capital, Aden.
The offer comes as part of new escalating steps after a full week of open sit-in by the southern military in front of the coalition headquarters in Aden to demand their back pay since 4 months.
The sit-in scene witnessed a rhetorical festival and a symbolic military show, with the presence and participation of the military music band, as a launch of the new escalation steps.
The Military Authority requests the following:
- The payment of accumulated salaries for four months in a row: March April, May, June 2020, and immediately disbursed them in one payment.
-Paying all salaries of the eight months after the previous years 2016 and 2017, or announcing a clear and explicit schedule for disbursement.
- Paying all the salaries of the second late military zone for the year 2020 CE and previous years.
- Regular payment of salaries at the end of each month without procrastination or procrastination.
-Paying the salaries of workers of governmental civil institutions and utilities and providing all necessary services and the necessities for a decent life for the people.
- Immediately enforce the settlement decisions for the retired and the laid-off, and to settle the situation of those who were not covered by the previous settlement decisions.
- Paying attention to the affairs and conditions of the families of the martyrs and the wounded by disbursing their salaries and providing them with all aspects of attention and care, given their sacrifices.
- To uphold the values of reconciliation and tolerance, and strengthen the bridges of confidence and Southern coexistence, in a manner that preserves the cohesion of the southern national and social fabric.
Providing all necessary services to the people, foremost of which are electricity, water and sanitation ... and others.
The protesters affirmed their continued protest and the continuous escalation until the response was fulfilled and all their demands were met and at the forefront of which all salaries were paid.
