Hodeidah, Newsyemen, private:

The dispute escalated between the local authorities of Al-Hodeidah Governorate and the leader of the First Brigade, resisting the charge of Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Kawkabani, due to the latter's refusal to hand over the headquarters of the Security Directorate in the Directorate and allowing the Governorate Security Director to appoint a security director to carry out his duties.

Al-Kawkabani organized, on Monday morning, a march of dozens of members of the brigade and their families who gathered in front of the security headquarters and chanted against the handing over of the administration, considering the demands of handing it over "a trusteeship of Tihama".

The governor of the governorate, Dr. Hassan Taher, and the director of security, Brigadier Najib Warq, belong to Hodeidah Governorate, and they and the rest of the governorate offices take from the city of Khokha a temporary capital for Hodeidah.

"Newsyemen" learned from local sources in the Directorate, that the demonstration came two days after Al-Kawkabani’s commitment to the General Command of the Giants Brigades to return to the fronts and left the headquarters of the Security Department to whom the governor and the director of security will appoint to carry out his duties.

According to the same sources, Al-Kawkabani agreed, the day before yesterday, to hand over the headquarters after he was addressed by the leadership of the giants that followed his brigade and the Al-Waheesh brigade operationally, and they control Al-khokha and their immediate surroundings.
