Gunmen block a main road south of Taiz

On Wednesday afternoon, gunmen blocked the main road to the city of Taiz, and prevented the passage of cars that were hit along the main road in the Najd Qasim area of the Al-Misrakh Directorate south of Taiz.
Citizens told Newsyemen that gunmen burned tires on the main road and blocked it, prevented the travelers and residents in Najd Qasim from passing.
The militants justified blocking of the road to protest the killing of the citizen Waddah Muhammad Abdo, in the same area, by gunmen following a dispute over a plot of land without the intervention of the security authorities.
Residents demanded that the security force play its role and quickly arrest the perpetrators.
As of 6:00 pm, the main road is still blocked.
This comes after a full day in the chaos in the city of Taiz.
