With chants of "Islah No More", thousands of demonstrators, today, in the Al-Ain area of Al-Mawaset district in the south of Taiz governorate, rejected the military buildup of the PMF militia affiliated with the Islah party, and turning the Al-Hujariyah areas into a stage of inter-strike.

The demonstrators raised banners calling for President Hadi to reconsider the appointment of a commander of the 35 armored brigade to prevent Yemeni fighting, and revealed those involved in the assassination of Brigadier Adnan Al-Hammadi, and to cancel all military developments.

The march statement confirmed it rejection of all armed mobilization by the PMF militia and under the cover of the army and security to the southern countryside of Taiz (Al-Hujariyah) under flawed justifications, and within plans implemented by merchants of war who are indifferent to the dangers of their behaviour towards the residents of these densely populated areas.

The statement criminalized the establishment of training centers for armed militias outside the army, and demanded that the Presidency and the government form a committee to investigate military and security leaderships and dismiss all those proven involved in turning brigade camps into training centers for armed militias that do not follow state institutions but rather follow foreign anti-legal agendas.

Afif Al-Azzami, Vice President of the Conference Branch, District 64, said that the foot march that started from the city of Al-Nishma to the Al Ain region, where the brigade's 35 armored headquarters is located, confirms the collective rejection of any military build-up, as it refuses to fight in Al-Hujariyah and all of Taiz, because it is the city of culture that does not condone militarization .

Al-Azzami demanded the exit of the gunmen from the sites that were created at the theater of operations of the 35th Brigade in Al-Hujariyah, and the commitment of the military brigades each in its theater of operations, and the implementation of the decision of the chief of staff to withdraw the military formations from Al-Turbah area.

For his part, political activist Fahmi Al-Akhali praised the peaceful march that included all spectrums of Yemeni society, from the socialist, Nasserist, Baath and the conference, but it was devoid of elements of the Islah party, which insists on a clash with the peaceful society and interstate war.

He pointed out that the march confirms its blatant rejection of the brotherhood of the army, we want an army based on national foundations heading for the Houthi coup fronts, not fabricating side battles and liberating the liberated areas.

Al-Akhali sent a message to the Arab coalition to rebuild the army on national bases, representing the entire spectrum of Yemeni society, not to transform the military establishment as an umbrella to pass the foreign agenda.
