The commander of the 1st Brigade, Zaraneeq, Brigadier-General Suleiman Yahya Munassar, said that the decision to extend the UN mission in Hodeidah "unify it" for another year is to extend and prolong the suffering of the people of the governorate.

He added, in a statement to Newsyemen, that the UN mission proved its failure since the signing of the Sweden agreement until today, and that extending its work serves the Houthi militias that commit daily crimes against the people of Tuhama.

And he expressed the rejection of Tuhama’s people to any extension in the mission of the mission, which was silent about the suffering of the people of Al Hudaydah governorate from the daily killing of Houthi militias against them.

He pointed out that renewing the tasks of the United Nations Mission in Support of the Stockholm Agreement for a coming year gives the Houthi militias the green light to continue killing civilians and destroying their homes, as is the continued suffering of civilians.

The UN Security Council decided last Tuesday to extend the mandate of the United Nations Mission in Support of the Hodeidah Agreement "UNMA" for a full year despite the failure that accompanied the mission of the mission since receiving its duties.
