Taiz: The Popular Mobilization Militia burns a petrol station and messes with Al-Birin Market

On Wednesday, the Popular Mobilization militia affiliated to the Islah Party burned a petrol station and caused looting and massive tampering in the shops in Al-Bireen Market, south of Taiz Governorate, after hours of armed clashes.

The Al-Birin Market is located between the districts of Al-Mesrakh and Al-Ma’afar and Jabal Habashi in the line linking the cities of Al-Sohar and Taiz, and it is taken by residents every Wednesday as a popular market.

A human rights source told "Newsyemen " that violent clashes erupted between two windows belonging to the leader known as Al-Tahesh, along with elements from the 17th Infantry Brigade and the Popular Mobilization on the one hand, and armed men guarding the fuel station of businessman Abd al-Wasi al-Sufyani on the other hand, against the background of the station owner's refusal to blackmail the elements Brotherhood, which imposed money by force of arms.

According to the source, the Brotherhood members burned Al-Birin station and looted some commercial stores that closed its doors and caused disturbance of tranquility and disruption of the interests of people in the region, and tampering with the “Al-Rabou Market” the livestock market, which is one of the most important popular markets in Taiz, which was closed today despite the severe crowding and citizens ’appetite for Sacrifice holiday.

The Al-Fayed militias coming from the city of Taiz caused a military uniform with their tools in the Al-Kalaibeh area and Al-Bireen to cut the Taiz-Aden road for hours in front of travelers, especially with the heavy traffic movement with the coming of the feast.
