Marib, Newsyemen:

The Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, created a front in the Yakla region northwest of Al-Bayda governorate, and launched a massive attack on strategic areas in an attempt to enforce the siege on the Murad tribes stationed in the Mahli district, south of Ma'rib.

Tribal sources told "Newsyemen" that the Houthi militia launched a massive attack, on Sunday, to control the strategic Mount Nofan in the Qurayshia district, with the participation of groups of "Rayam and Al-Jawf" gunmen, noting that this attack came days after the mobilization of armed men to the area.

It added that the Qayifa tribes were able to repel the attack after violent battles broke out between the two sides, in which all types of heavy, medium and light weapons were used.

The sources indicated that the Houthi militia is seeking to block the road to the Murad tribes in the Mahliya district, then reach the Al-Jouba district in the Marib governorate, while the Qafyia tribes are trying to prevent this.
