Qaiyfa tribesmen were able to regain sites and liberate other Houthi militia sites in the Nofan region and its surroundings in the Qurayshia district, while the confrontations between the two sides continued until Monday dawn in the areas northwest of Al-Bayda.

Regarding the nature of the confrontations, he explained that the tribal militants set up several ambushes that succeeded in burning an armored militia and doubling the casualties among its groups.

According to the source, a large number of Houthis were killed, including leaders of them: Zaben Muhammad al-Riyami al-Mukli, Hassan al-Muwaid, and another leader from the al-Dailami family, and others were wounded, in addition to 8 Houthi elements were captured by tribesmen.

It pointed out that the militia corpses are still lying in the lower Caleb reef and sites on the slopes of the strategic Mount Nofan.

On the other hand, 3 members of the Abu Surima tribe "Qaiyfa" were martyred, including a leader, and 3 others from the same tribe were wounded.

In response to their losses on the battlefields, the Houthi militia resorted - as they usually do after any heavy losses to bombing citizens' homes with all heavy weapons.

The source reported that a woman was killed by a Houthi sniper fire in the Ishma district of Qaiyfa.

On Sunday morning, the Houthi militia began a large-scale attack, the first of its kind, which it launched in the Qaiyfa front in about 18 months, and its media described it as a "major battle."

According to field sources, the militia mobilized several days ago for this attack, which extended from the Al-Dhahra region, adjacent to Bani Dabyan, Sana'a, to the Al-Nahma "Murad" area of Marib, passing through Aqabat Zaaj.
