Hodeidah, Newsyemen, Exclusive:

The torrents that swept Tihama over the past two weeks swept away a camp belonging to the Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen - located in Wadi Saham in Bajil District, east of Hodeidah Governorate.

A local source said to Newsyemen that the torrents surprised the Houthi camp, which is located in Al-Khan and extends east to the Abal Line, and swept away all its elements and equipment.

It emphasized that citizens found the bodies of militia members in Al Marawah, after being swept away by torrents for several miles.

It explained that Houthi elements stationed in Al-Sahari farm in the Al-Morshidia area in the Zabid district left the farm after the floods entered it.

The source indicated that Houthi crews carrying weapons and military equipment left the farm, fearing a repeat of what happened to their members in the Bajil district camp.

Floods ravaged Tihama during the past two weeks, causing great damage and loss of life and property.
