Two Houthis were killed and others wounded, today while southern forces thwarted an infiltration operation carried out by Iranian arm elements towards their positions in the Al-Fakher front in the Qataba district, north of Al-Dhalea governorate.
A military source said that groups belonging to the Houthi militia tried to infiltrate the Al-Fakher sector in an attempt to control sites of the 30th Armored Brigade in the northeast of Al-Fakher.
According to the source, the movements and operations of the Houthi militia were monitored, which enabled the southern forces to launch deadly strikes on them, killing two and wounding others.
The southern forces confiscated a number of explosive devices that were in the possession of the Houthi militia, and were intending to plant them in some outlets and valleys near the sites of the 30th Armored Brigade, according to the source.
