Frequent Houthi violations and new targeting of Hays residential homes

On Tuesday, the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm, launched bombing and targeting a number of homes and residential neighborhoods in the city of Hays, in a new violation of the UN truce.

The Houthi militia targeted populated areas with heavy mortar shells, caliber 120, and their machine-gun fire.

During the past three weeks, the number of Houthi violations and violations in the liberated parts of Hodeidah has increased dramatically.

These violations ranged between targeting residential neighborhoods and infiltration attempts on separate fronts, including Al-Jah, Al-Durahimi, Al-Jabaliya, Al-Tuhayat, and Al-Mandhar neighborhood, with sniping, and laying mines and explosive devices.

On Monday, the joint forces said that they had detected 76 Houthi violations in separate areas, south of Hodeidah governorate.

It added that Houthi violations of civilians' rights included the use of heavy artillery shells and B10 anti-bunker shells.

With regard to mine-planting crimes, the Iranian arm re-planted them again in valleys and highlands, instead of those that were swept away and brought out by torrents.

It has also begun carrying out campaigns to pursue many civilians in its areas of control, and implanting intelligence cells to track down, pursue and arrest citizens who do not conform to its sectarian ideas.

Since the signing of the UN armistice at the end of 2018, the Houthi militia has continued its violations and violations, on a daily basis, by targeting neighborhoods, residential villages and citizens' farms in various directorates of Al Hodeidah Governorate.
