Al-Bayda, Newsyemen:

On Tuesday, local sources in Al-Bayda revealed that extremist organizations have supported the Houthi militia in the battles taking place on the Musharif front between the Walad Rabie districts (northwest of the governorate) and Rahba in the Ma'rib governorate.

The sources indicated that during the past few days, ISIS launched successive attacks on the Qayfah tribesmen south of Yakla and the neighboring villages, and cut off their supply routes, in conjunction with similar attacks by the Houthis from the north and west.

It added that the Houthis avoided attacking the extremist organizations' gatherings that are stationed in mountainous areas in the Ould Rabie district.

It emphasized that the distance between ISIS and Houthi sites in some areas of the confrontations does not exceed one kilometer, adding, "But neither of them fired even a single bullet at the other."

Earlier today, the Houthi militia announced the achievement of a military achievement, which was the liberation of a thousand square kilometers that were under the control of Al-Qaeda and ISIS in the Walad Rabie district of Al-Bayda governorate and its surrounding areas.

A statement published by the Houthi militia spokesman, Yahya Saree, spoke of the implementation of a qualitative military operation that led to the destruction of more than a dozen camps and gatherings of those whom it described as (takfiri elements) and the fall of more than 250 dead, prisoners and wounded.

Local sources confirmed the forced withdrawal of tribesmen (according to their description) to the Al-Musharif area adjacent to the Rahba district of the Ma'rib governorate.

It attributed the fall of Yakla in the hands of the Houthis to the scarcity of resources at a time when the Houthi mobilized about two thousand armed men and more than 100 tanks and BMBs, noting that more than 70 tribal fighters had been killed since the start of the confrontations.
