Aden, Newsyemen, Faris Saeed:

The American expert and researcher specializing in national security affairs and radical groups, Irina Zuckerman, considered that the terms of the Riyadh Agreement are reasonable in this very complex situation with many different agendas, interests and conflicting views in Yemen.

The American expert said, in an interview with "Newsyemen", that chaos and terrorism in Yemen is not only due to the malicious designs and superior power of rogue regimes and their proxies, but to the division of allied forces, "which opens the door to more foreign intervention and the recruitment of increasing groups of forces by parties manipulative instead of fighting with their proxies and overcoming differences. "

While "Zuckerman" believed that the creation of a cohesive strategic alliance, even with a certain level of differences, is the only way to address the ultimate goals of the war and beyond, she said that "any agreement is as good as the willingness of the signatories to abide by its terms."

And she considered that with the Saudi-backed mechanisms to fully implement the Riyadh Agreement, there are no more excuses for the continuation of internal fighting and physical confrontation, in reference to the Hadi and Brotherhood forces continuing to escalate with the southern forces in Abyan Governorate, south of Yemen.

And she stressed that all these issues should be set aside, regardless of differences over corruption and reform and whether one group thinks another group is not strong enough.

Irina believes that the best way forward is to understand that the differences in strategy for everyone in the coalition wants a peaceful, prosperous, secure and free future for the country and the region.

She said, “These inevitable differences in curricula should be considered stemming from well-intentioned positions, even if they are wrong or inconsistent with the interests of some parties. "

She explained, "The best way to achieve these differences is through open dialogue in good faith, confidence-building measures between the conflicting groups, and a renewed commitment to common goals, where power will be shared in a just way and ideological differences will be resolved amicably and constructively."

She indicated, in the context of her interview with "Newsyemen", that tensions and conflicts are not limited to Yemen, there are political conclusions in every society and country; but it is the polarization, sectarianism, and dehumanization of others that divert potentially useful resources for examining, standardizing, or eliciting a variety of perspectives in violent conflicts with tragic consequences.

The American researcher and expert, Irina Zuckerman concluded, "Everyone should take this matter seriously and do everything possible to oppose past habits and tendencies to escalate every difference to the point of a major battle and find no other ways to pursue these agendas and reconcile the conflicting ideas."
