Hodeidah, NewsYemen:

On Friday, the engineering unit of the joint forces dismantled a minefield planted by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm, in Yemen, on a citizen's farm in Al-Durahimi district, Hodeidah governorate.

The military media reported to the joint forces, that a citizen of Al-Qudba area, southwest of Al-Durahimi district, reported the nearest military site that two mines had appeared on his farm, which were swept away by torrential torrents, and an engineering team immediately went to clear them.

It explained that the engineering team found the farm a field of anti-armor mines that the Iranian militias had planted in a criminal way, before they withdrew from the area.

It added that 65 mines have been removed and dismantled, and the survey and dismantling process is still ongoing and will include all neighboring farms, noting that engineering teams have previously discovered and dismantled similar fields in the vicinity of the same area as part of the continuous survey efforts to secure the lives of citizens.

The torrential rains washed away, recently, many of the mines of the Houthi militia, which are still a nightmare for the people of the West Coast, as hardly a day passes without casualties in their ranks in their villages, farms and roads.

Al-Durahimi is the district in Al Hodeidah governorate most affected by the criminal Houthi militia mines.

The engineering teams of the joint forces had earlier dismantled an explosive device planted by Houthi infiltrators in al-Jabaliya farms in the Tuhayat district, south of Hodeidah.

It is noteworthy that the engineering teams of the joint forces dismantled yesterday a minefield in the Hamli area of the Mawza district, which was planted by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen.
