Taiz, Newsyemen, Exclusive:

Officials and activists on social media have criticized what they called “the ongoing harassment against leaders of the 35th Armored Brigade, raiding their homes and terrorizing their children and women,” by the Popular Mobilization Militia of the Islah Party, the local branch of the Brotherhood.

According to the activists, these “practices are irresponsible and unworthy of any military or security agency claiming to represent the state and concerned with embodying its values and respecting law and order,” according to what journalist Fuad al-Maqtari said in his tweet on Twitter.

Al-Maqtari described these violations as "humiliating," and said that "they can only be practiced by gangs and militias possessed by the tendency of terror and revenge."

In the context, the journalist, Maan Dammaj, accused the Islah party of "practicing repression through the state-dominated apparatus in Al-Hujaria and Taiz."

Dammaj said, "This suppression" expresses the euphoria of empowerment after its success in annexing the 35th Brigade to his state of Taiz after getting rid of the martyr Al Hammadi. "

Dammaj asserted that "empowerment in the emirate of Taiz is all that matters for Islah today - with the dominance of its Qatari wing in particular - as for facing the Houthi movement in Al Hawban and the rest of the governorate, it is not on its agenda."

Yemen's ambassador to Morocco, Izz Al-Din Al-Asbahi, commented on the events, saying that "Taiz suffers from a deadly siege and a deadly internal conflict."

He continued by saying that "what is happening from different scenarios to ignite regional battles within the afflicted governorate is a scenario to eliminate the idea of the Taiz issue and in the hands of its people, and unfortunately the disaster continues to torpedo the issue of Taiz and return it to its right track, and it is a just cause that is to be liquidated by deepening its wounds."

Al-Asbahi held "all leaderships responsible for this failure in Taiz," and called on them to "stop" and "restore the compass towards completing the liberation of the governorate, restoring respect for state institutions and stopping this crime against Taiz from chaos and madness."

He suggested setting up a plan to end what he called "the strife of Al-Hujaria", by holding a meeting with its men and restoring state institutions.

Al-Asbahi described the killing of the young Aseel Abdel-Hakim Al-Jabzi, son of the head of operations of the 35th Armored Brigade in the governorate of Taiz as a "heinous crime," and said it was "unimaginable."

He stressed, "Everyone stands against crime, punishes the perpetrators, and stops the cycle of blood and push by stopping sedition in the restoration of institutions, and a serious meeting for reconciliation now with real concessions that are reserved for its role and the status it deserves."
