Aden, NewsYemen:

The violations of the terrorist Houthi militia in Al-Hodeidah governorate recorded a serious record and exceeded 7,378 violations within one month, in an escalation that takes place in the midst of an international mission imprisoned at the mercy of the rebels, according to the legitimate government.

The violations committed by the Houthi militia last July resulted in heavy human losses amounting to 97 people, including 14 martyrs and 83 wounded, civilians and two soldiers, according to a message from the Yemeni Foreign Ministry, on Monday, to the United Nations Secretary-General regarding undermining Iran's arm for the work of the UN mission to support the Hodeidah Agreement.

The message was amazed at the fact that the head of the UN mission ignored the implementation of the Houthi militia, on August 27, of an attack on several sectors of the forces in Hodeidah and its targeting of the Red Sea mills, while in his statement issued on August 29, he focused on some incidents based on false and false information from Houthi sources about allegations use of cluster munitions by the Legitimacy Support Coalition.

The government confirmed that the Houthis continue to use Hodeidah as a platform to launch their attacks using drones and remote-controlled booby-trapped boats, warning that the UN mission has become imprisoned and at the mercy of the Houthi militia.

In her message, she said, "The mission is unable to implement its mandate, so it was not even able to investigate or reveal those involved in targeting the government liaison officer, Colonel Muhammad al-Sulayhi, who was targeted by Houthi militia snipers last March, and who is supposed to be protected and responsible for the mission."

She indicated that the participation of the government team in the Redeployment Coordination Committee was suspended as a result of these practices, in order to preserve the lives of the liaison officers, and to demand a transparent and comprehensive investigation and expose those responsible for targeting Colonel Al-Sulayhi, moving the headquarters of the UN mission to a neutral location and securing its work, which was also included in the letters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to The UN mission since the suspension of the work of the government team.

And she cautioned that restricting the movement of the UN mission and undermining its work by the Houthi militia makes the issue of continuing its work in this way unproductive.

The government called on the Secretary-General of the United Nations to directly intervene in order to expedite the transfer of the mission headquarters to a neutral location in Hodeidah, secure its work, and reveal those involved in targeting Colonel Al-Sulayhi, in a manner that ensures the mission's implementation of its mandate specified under Security Council Resolution 2452.
