On Tuesday, Major General of Guidance of the Third Brigade, Tuhama Resistance, Ismail Madibsh, survived an assassination attempt in the Mandr neighborhood of Hodeidah governorate.
A local source said that masked gunmen stormed Madibsh's house at dawn in Mandr district while he was alone in the house and began to stab and suffocate him.
The source added that Madibsh resisted the attackers and screamed, prompting the gunmen to flee, fearing they would be discovered.
He explained, that Madibsh was transferred to the field hospital in Al-Nakhila in Al-Durhaimi to receive treatment, without further information about the identity of the perpetrators and their motives for committing the crime.
