Thousands demonstrate in Shabwa in support of the transitional council

Thousands of people demonstrated today, Thursday, in Shabwa Governorate, southeastern Yemen, in support of the Southern Transitional Council.
Thousands of Shabwa residents demonstrated in the Al-Musainaa area, in Alsaeed.
The demonstrators expressed their rejection of the falsification of their popular will by the Islah party, the Yemeni Brotherhood, and its southern components.
Citizens complained, in the context, that they were unable to attend the demonstration, after they were prevented by the Brotherhood's Islah militia at checkpoints.
Local sources told Newsyemen that the Islah militia prevented crowds of Asilan, Bayhan, Mayfa'a, Radoum, Nassab and Jardan from attending the demonstration at checkpoints.
Earlier, the Islah party militia in Shabwa issued a decision banning the demonstration, but the decision encouraged thousands of Shabwa people to attend and challenge the authorities of the Brotherhood province.
