With Emirati funding, the Red Crescent launches the second relief phase in Al-Tuhaita

 Relief teams of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority launched the second phase of relief aid in isolation of Al-Majlis, affiliated to Al-Tuhaita District, with the support of the United Arab Emirates.

The inauguration included 200 baskets out of a total of 6 thousand food baskets for this phase, including the areas that were not covered by the distribution plan in the previous phase, namely the villages of At-Tuhaita, Hayes and Beit Al-Faqih, in addition to the camps for the displaced, and the first phase included the areas of Al-Khawkha, Al-Durahimi, Al-Hawak and Al-Hali.

And ended with the distribution of 6 thousand food baskets, including camps for the displaced, remote areas, poor families, families of martyrs, orphans and those affected by the floods.

The relief official at the Crescent Office in the West Coast, Abdulrahman Al-Yousifi, said: “We are in the process of launching the second phase of relief aid for the residents of the coast and those in need, and that the Crescent Authority came to restore hope to the residents of these remote and deprived areas in order to alleviate the suffering of the people of these villages who have become  They suffer scarcity of economic resources and their inability to cope with the burdens of life and livelihoods, but the Crescent Authority will continue its humanitarian march to reach the poor, needy, destitute and displaced. ”

The beneficiaries expressed their thanks to the UAE for its continuous support to them through its humanitarian arm, the Red Crescent Authority, which contributes to alleviating their suffering due to these difficult humanitarian conditions, and that the UAE has been the hand of generosity and generosity from its founding until today.

This support comes as a continuation of the humanitarian campaign carried out by the Emirates Red Crescent Authority to provide relief to citizens in rural and remote areas, and as a continuation of the flow of relief and shelter aid to the affected families in the liberated districts.
