Taiz, NewsYemen:

Today, Sunday, the city of Taiz witnessed a protest stand in front of the temporary headquarters of the governorate to demand the extradition of the killers of the citizen Muhammad Ali Mahdi, who was killed last week in the city of light by gunmen from the 17th Infantry Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Militia.

A statement issued by the people of the area said that two military soldiers from the air defense site of the Seventeenth Infantry Brigade opened fire on the citizen Muhammad Mahdi, which led to his death, against the background of his demand to surrender his house, which they have controlled for five years.

The statement added that members of the 17th Infantry Brigade have controlled the house of the martyr Al-Mahdi for years, and refused to comply with official directives that demanded that they return it and hand it over to its owners.

The statement called on the leadership of the Taiz Corridor to hand over the perpetrators of this crime, which they described as hideous, to the competent authorities to receive legal penalties.
