Local sources in Al Hodeidah Governorate said that a Houthi militia gunman committed a brutal massacre against his family, on Sunday evening, in Al-Jarahi District, south of Hodeidah Governorate.
The sources pointed out that the gunman, a child who was recruited by the Houthi militia a few months ago, killed his father, mother and another of his neighbors with the rank of a colonel who responded to the family's distress before he was killed in Al-Jarahi village in Al-Jarahi District, south of the governorate.
The shooting of the recruiter Muhammad Ali Abdullah Wasel, with live bullets, in the village, resulted in wounding 3 girls, including his sister, before he fled after committing his brutal crime to an unknown destination.
The dead victims were: his elderly mother and father, Ali Abdullah Wasel, and Colonel Hassan Obeid Wasel, who was also a relative.
According to the sources, the militant was lured by the Houthis and forced him into the fighting fronts on the western coast, and he returned to his family complaining of daily disturbances, which prompted him to liquidate his family after a slight dispute arose between them.
