Taiz, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

Conference sources in Taiz Governorate said that the leaders of the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, are seeking to plunder and steal lands belonging to the General People's Congress Party in the governorate

The sources added to NewsYemen: The leader of the Houthi militia, who is the governor of the governorate, Salim al-Maghlis, is charged with the task of supporting and supporting Houthi leaders and pushing them strongly to extend and control lands belonging to the General People's Congress, despite the conference leaders ’proving their ownership of these lands.

The sources indicated that Al-Maghlis refused to implement directives issued by the head of the so-called Supreme Political Council, which is under the control of the militias, Mahdi Al-Mashat, and directed to him to enable the leaders of the conference to use and dispose of the lands owned by the conference in Al-Hawban area in Taiz governorate after the conference leaders submitted documents proving the conference's ownership of them, and that Al-Maghlas insists that these lands are public property and that ownership must be devolved to the state.

The practices of the Houthi leader in Taiz, Salim Al-Maghlis, coincide with similar practices of Houthi leaders in the capital, Sana'a, who are spreading land and real estate owned by the conference and are seeking to confiscate them at times, and at other times to pressure the leaders of the conference to sell them to them at cheap prices, while Houthi leaders practice three extortion operations of the conference leaders by filing lawsuits from official bodies against the conference and claiming ownership of land owned by the conference with official documents.
