The head of the mothers of Yemeni Detainees Association criticized the failure to include the file of detained and kidnapped women in the Iranian Houthi militia's prisons in the file of exchanges and agreements.

Amat Al-Salam Al-Hajj stressed, in a statement to " Newsyemen", "the necessity of the immediate release of the detained women without conditions or restrictions" calling for pressure on the coup militias to release them to preserve their rights and freedoms."

Indicating that the world celebrates Women's Day and UN Resolution No. (1325) on women, peace and security, and Yemen is striving for the peaceful exit of women from the detention camps of the coup.

Al-Hajj explained, during her interview with "Newsyemen" on the sidelines of the exchange of prisoners and civilian detainees at Seiyun International Airport in Hadhramaut Governorate, that "the implementation of the Sweden agreement, even if it is only part of it, is a source of great joy for mothers and families, and this is what we have been waiting for for years."

She said, "We ask everyone to continue appeals to get all detainees and kidnapped people out of Houthi prisons without conditions or restrictions."

She added, "The kidnapped civilian have been exchanged for prisoners of war, but we demand in the next times that the kidnapped be released without any exchanges."

And she concluded by saying, "We had hoped that the remaining numbers who were still in Houthi prisons would get out."

On Thursday, Seiyun Airport witnessed a mass reception ceremony organized by the internationally recognized Yemeni government for prisoners, kidnapped and civilian disappeared persons released from the prisons of the Houthi militia, and the families of those released attended it, amid joy in everyone's faces.

It is noteworthy that dozens of detainees released from the Houthi coup prisons arrived at Seiyun airport in the east of the country, and they are in a bad physical and psychological condition as a result of the torture they have been subjected to over the past years, in a scene that reflects the brutal torture in the coup prisons.

It is worth noting that the prisoner exchange process between the Houthis and the government was completed on Friday under the auspices of the United Nations under the Stockholm Agreement, which was suspended for nearly two years due to the militia's evasive behavior.

The Seiyun International Airport received 231 prisoners and hidden persons on Thursday, who were transported on board the International Committee of the Red Cross aircraft, in the largest exchange operation since the Houthi coup in the year 2014.
