The Shabwah Governor's Committee, Muhammad Saleh bin Adiou, which was formed to investigate the corruption accusations of the oil company, the governorate branch, remained silent, as nine days passed without explanation, which contradicts the decision that stipulated seven days.

Ibn Adiou issued a decision to form an investigation committee on October 22, with the aim of verifying accusations against the Shabwa oil company of selling fuel to other governorates, and the decision set a week to clarify what this committee would produce.

According to informed sources, to "NewsYemen", the Bin Adiou investigation committee returned from the city of Mukalla, on the coast of Hadramout, to the city of Ataq last Thursday, without informing the public opinion of its findings.

The silence of the committee indicates that the corruption accusations at Shabwa Oil Company are real.

The director general of the oil company in Hadramout coast had accused Shabwa Oil Company of selling fuel allocations to the governorate, through an office in the sixtieth area in Mukalla.

The accusation angered the Shabwa authority, which prompted Ibn Adio to form an investigation committee.

The sale of Shabwa fuel results in an increase in its prices within the governorate, as the stations buy from dealers due to the fact that the government fuel allowance is sold by the oil company to other provinces.

Ibn Adiou had ousted the former director general of the oil company, the Shabwa branch, a few months ago, on charges of corruption, and appointed a Muslim Brotherhood named Saleh Seboula.
